Katherine G., an expressive, full-length portrait of Swoon’s Red-Hook studio neighbor, makes its debut in Westville on at exterior wall of Kehler Liddell Gallery.

In a recent video interview with the New York Times, Swoon describes street art as “a healthy practice of a healthy city.” It’s vital, the artist says, “to have people making things and putting them outside and being a part of the visual creation of their neighborhoods.”
