Public art accessible to everyone!

Site Projects is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization that commissions world class public artworks, programming, and events on a project-by-project basis in partnership with local agencies and organizations that enhance New Haven's cultural heritage and diversity.

Public Art Fellows 2018

The PAF’18 educational program, Comic Book Heroes of Public Art, invites fellows to use their cartooning talents to tell a story.  Fellows tour the Green exploring public art and develop a story that engages a favorite artwork or several artworks in the city.  In addition to a local cartooning artist- mentor, a digital comic book artist-mentor will discuss the art of developing exciting narratives that keep the pages turning.  A community celebration in August will showcase the comic books of these young talented artists.

Art is Everywhere. Find it!

Site Projects is pleased to announce the debut to our latest contribution to public art: ArtSites New Haven. An interactive digital catalogue, ArtSites illustrates, locates, and describes outdoor public art throughout the city—from Long Wharf to East Rock, from UNH to the New Haven Green—providing a dynamic experience of New Haven's rich legacy of visual arts. Accessible by a URL link from any mobile device, tablet or computer, ArtSites features an interactive map of New Haven, pinpointing the location of outdoor art all over the city.
