On August 11 2017, Peter Deyo from New Haven Sign Company installed a plaque commemorating Felice Varini's "Square with four circles" commissioned by Site Projects and installed in 2010. The aluminum sign-- envisioned by graphic designer Pat Shoemaker, was installed in the wall of the pedestrian walkway on Chapel Street that connects to Temple Plaza.
The sign provides context to one of New Haven's most iconic public artworks. Also involved were: Consolidated Management Group (owners of Ann Taylor Building,) Town Green Special Services District and numerous private donors.
