Upcoming Events
On September 15th, Site Projects|New Haven will celebrate its anniversary with Celebrate the Sound!, held at the Canal Dock Boathouse from 1 to 6 pm. That makes 15 years of bringing world-class public art to New Haven! And just like our public art, our party is free and open to all.
Music, dancing, free food, films, exhibits, and more! Prepare for activities running all afternoon long; we promise there will surely be something for everyone! To reserve your slice of fun and let us know you’ll be attending, please follow this link to our Eventbrite page.
Trolley rides to the venue will be offered from SportsHaven! Convenient parking guaranteed!
The PAF’18 educational program, Comic Book Heroes of Public Art, invites fellows to use their cartooning talents to tell a story. Fellows tour the Green exploring public art and develop a story that engages a favorite artwork or several artworks in the city. PAF’18 is here!
It's been a long time coming, but the wait is finally over...
Site Projects would like to thank Pat Shoemaker for designing a gorgeous sign, Peter Deyo at New Haven Sign Company (also pictured below installing the sign), Win Davis at Town Green Special Services District and to everyone who has ever taken a photo in front of the Varini.
We're eager to see the 2017 Public Art Fellows as they screen their final performances at the Route 34 underpass.
This year's Public Art Fellows (PAF) will focus on the interactive light sculpture "...Lighting Your Way..." scheduled for installation fall 2017-2018 at the Route 34 Connector Underpass between Union Station and Downtown.
On June 10th from 1-4 p.m., in conjunction with the International Festival, we plan to have a celebration of the ideas and the aspirations of the artwork for the people in the surrounding neighborhoods and for people coming through the Train Station.
We're still overjoyed with gratitude for the many hands and hearts that went into making our “I Am Shakespeare" film fundraiser a success. A special Thank You to Common Ground High School, to Stephen Dest and Henry Green without whom the film would not be possible, and a supportive audience whose generous donations are making a difference! We are one step closer to realizing …Way to Go…
